Foodies,  Locavore Q & A

Locavore Q & A Guest Post Series

After many weeks of planning, I am so pleased to announce a guest blogging project beginning tomorrow! The kitchen partner and I are headed to California for some much-needed vacation time. I have a full list of  local food and wine spots in San Francisco, Napa Valley, and Yosemite lined up, and plan to fill my camera with photos to share.

While I’m away from the blog, you’ll be reading a series of guest posts titled “Locavore Q & A” featuring some new and old friends in local food. When I became a locavore in 2010, I spent hours reading and listening to others talk about the lifestyle and the importance of eating local. Whether a beginning cook in the kitchen or a seasoned grower, we all have different motivations for choosing local food. Over the past month I’ve collected stories from members of the local food community to share with you. The posts are guest written in a Q & A format to help you learn more about what it means to be a locavore from a different perspective. Many of these voices helped me become more dedicated to the food I eat and I hope they do the same for you. See you in a few weeks!

I just read through the other Q & A’s posted so far – so interesting to hear people’s takes and how they got to the point that they cared about local food. Great guest series.

I realized too late that I guest posted on 2 different blogs on the same day – so I’m going to link to your series today!

Enjoy your vacation and especially all that wine!
